Spent the day 'Moto-X' ing .... not ridden road bike for approx 4-5 years, not ridden dirt bikes for even longer ..... and dirt bikes (well KTM's for sure) are a totally different animal these days

Started out on 250 4 stroker which had so much torque keeping front wheel on deck was a mission in itself. Had a bit of a swap about with some of the other guys and ended up on a 125 2 stroker for the circuit training .... Turned out to be a good move as this bike was so quick and real easy to chuck about, and get big air on

I have to admit to scaring myself sh*tless at one point as I nearly cleared the table top and came down a little nose first from quite a way up and noticed a real boggy stretch just other side of down slope needing lots of power to negotiate, before real tight right hander .... all this for the brain to comprehend and react to while worrying about potential crushed knackers as the ground rushed up

As it turned out, from the 7 of us in the group, only yours truly didn't fall off throughout the day. Some might say I'm a natural, but those in the know might suggest I wasn't trying hard enough (think I made up for it a bit in the evening through excess liquid consumption)

Upshot of all this hi-octane action ..... there is no way I should be scared about doing forwards with nice soft watery landing spots
